Originally from Valentine, Nebraska, Calvin moved to Minneapolis to attend the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2021. They plan on graduating from MCAD in 2025 with a BFA in Comic Art and Minors in Animation, Art History, and Creative Writing.
Calvin has exhibited in the MCAD Material and Media Exploration Gallery (2021), contributed to the MCAD Summer Zine (2022), and was selected for the Made at MCAD Gallery (2024). He was awarded the Will Eisner Sequential Art Scholarship Award in 2024.
