Originally from North Central Nebraska, Calvin moved to Minneapolis to attend the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2021. They plan on graduating from MCAD in 2025 with a BFA in Comic Art and Minors in Animation, Art History, and Creative Writing.
Calvin has been selected to be in the Made at MCAD (2024) and the MCAD Material & Media Exploration Gallery (2021). He was awarded the Will Eisner Sequential Art Award in 2024.
